Abstract

We report the cases of two patients with severe neurological disorders, who suffered from severe pulmonary infections complicated by atelectasis, the resolution of which was probably achieved with the aid of aerosolized recombinant human DNase. We discuss the possible use of DNase in diseases other than Cystic Fibrosis.
