The poor prognosis of advanced cervical carcinomas has stimulated the promotion of numerous neo-adjuvant chemotherapy studies with the purpose of reducing the tumoral mass and facilitating surgery or radiotherapy. The data relating to our experience with polychemotherapy combined with vicristine, bleomycin and platinum (PVB) are encouraging and entitle us to proceed in our attempt to improve the prognosis in these patients.
