Abstract
This review is for family and hospital paediatricians who find themselves managing an isolated proteinuria or associated with infrequent symptoms1,2. It tries to convey a simple diagnostic approach, with indications on the primary management of proteinuria and on when to refer to a paediatric nephrologist.
