Proton nuclear magnetic resonance investigation of the spin dynamics in cobalt based one-dimensional magnetic molecular chains

Abstract

A study was performed on the spin dynamics in cobalt based one-dimensional magnetic molecular chains. Proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) spin-lattice relaxation rate was calculated as a function of the temperature for two different external magnetic fields. The 1H NMR measurements that were performed, demonstrated the existence of a two relaxation mechanisms in Co chains.
