It is infrequent to observe a high number of seizures per day in adult patients having normal neurologial examination and neuroimaging studies. We describe 4 patients (aged from 14 to 66 years) who showed a high number of seizures generally without loss of consciousness not rarely with emotional trigger. Doubts arose about their epileptic origin. A 24 hours EEG monitoring, with the specific aim of differentiating seizures from pseudoseizures, showed 12 to 54 electrical or electroclinical epileptic seizures of focal origin.
