Abstract
The sonographic findings for Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum (PXE) observed at the level of the kidneys in seven patients, five with skin manifestations and two without skin or other clinical lesions, are reported. Doplex Doppler sonography was performed in five cases and the resistive index were measured. The detection of the echogenic spots should lead to the inclusion of the disease in the differential diagnosis list with high priority.
