Abstract
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy in children and adolescents with migraine and tension headache, which has been the focus of much study since as long ago as the 1930s, is an effective means of improving both the mental and somatic health of patients. In childhood and adolescence it is often necessary to modify the psychotherapeutic approach in order to find a satisfactory and effective setting and frequency (once a week).
