Abstract
Two cases of pulmonary hernia, differing in etiology and therapeutic indications, are described. We are discussing, then, anatomic, etiologic, pathogenic and clinic characteristics of this uncommon disease. Some considerations are made about the indications on how to operate on pulmonary hernias and different reconstructive surgical technics.
