Abstract
Early experience in the use of a small gastric patch for reconstruction of the upper urinary tract is reported. Left gastropyeloplasy was carried out in two patients suffering from urinary tract infection and recurrent renal stones. The use of a small patch of stomach, based on the right gastroepiploic artery, for reconstruction of the upper urinary tract prevents formation of recurrent calculi and bacterial infections.
