Abstract

Reflex seizures are observed in several epileptic syndromes, both generalized and partial, idiopathic and symptomatic, and it is possible to classify them in accordance to ILAE criteria of classification. Their peculiar features may help in the understanding of the pathophysiologic mechanisms that underly the triggering processes of seizures; moreover, they may sometimes rise specific problems in the management of seizures (as in video-games seizures).
