Abstract
Neurological and neuropsychological deficits following head injury cause relevant interaction and communication difficulties with the patient that are often complicated by behavioural and emotional disorders. Caregivers often report many difficulties in decoding the patient's messages and behaviours, understanding their needs and, therefore, in taking care of them. The aim of these workshops is to provide caregivers with the appropriate measures to understand (nonverbal) communication and develop appropriate management strategies to establish an improve relationship with the patient.
