Abstract
A comparison was made of plasma GH and PRL rises related to sleep stages in obese subjects and in healthy controls. No GH peak was observed in obese, in spite of normal sleep architecture. The nocturnal PRL rise was significantly reduced in obese, and anticipated to the first nonREM/REM cycle.
