50 patients with Crohn's disease were examined in a prospective study to assess the statistical incidence of renal and osteoarticular complications in this illness. The importance of radiological diagnosis of these complications that, by themselves, are indications for surgery of Crohn's disease for failure of medical therapy, was evaluated.
