Abstract
The authors present a preliminary report of a screening during 1994 about the frequency of locomotorium diseases in orienteering. The data suggest a prevalence of acute diseases against chronic. In particular the capsulo-ligamentous lesions are the most occurring and the ankle is the most affected district followed by the knee. Many informations have been collected about the frequency and the type of training which have been compared to traumas percentage, sports level and age.
