Abstract
The problems of reconstruction following resection of the distal end of the radius are dealt with. The authors present cases of resection-endoprosthesis, resection-arthrodesis, massive homoplastic resection-transplant, and finally resection and reconstruction with an autoplastic fibular graft. They consider this last method the best and deal with certain details of technique. Finally, resection and deferred tibial graft with arthrodesis in a rare case of osteosarcoma of the distal radius is described.
