Retinoblastoma is a malignant tumour arising from the retina. It typically presents in the first 3 years of life. The tumour is confined to the eye in the early stages and the cure rates is below 95%. Extra-ocular spread is rare and presents a very poor prognosis. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment are crucial to save life and vision.
