Abstract

We describe two patients with scalp dysplasia. The first had cutis verticis gyrata since birth, the second had aplasia cutis congenita at the vertex. Both patients have mental retardation, drug-resistant epilepsy and the same EEG pattern with epileptic abnormalities on the vertex. All examinations we made were normal. Both patients' mothers took drugs in the first month of gestation.
