In a 12-year period, on a total number of about 2,000 new epileptic patients, we observed 4 patients with seizures triggered by calculation or board games. All of them suffered from idiopathic Generalized Epilepsy. The A. stress that, since it is not always possible to reproduce electroclinical seizures in the laboratory with the specific triggering stimulus, the diagnosis may be based exclusively on clinical criteria.
