The results of an investigation on granulocytes stained with quinacrine are reported. The study of 30 healthy male individuals showed that the chromatin is frequently situated at the boundary of the nucleus and often appears in the form of a nuclear projection. This finding demonstrates that at least a proportion of the small clubs in granulocytes are formed by the Y chromatin.
