Abstract
Aim of our study is to evaluate sleep quality in epileptic patients during A/EEG and correlate subjective to objective parameters. Patients answered a questionnaire about ordinary and during A/EEG sleep quality and then we evaluated some EEG-parameters. Sleep diseases are very frequent and are confirmed by parameters as sleep time, and number of arousals, although latency and sleep pattern are normal. A/EEG discomfort does not interfere with these parameters, so A/EEG is a safe technique for monitoring sleep, complementary to subjective evaluation.
