Abstract

The authors have studied the speed of nervous conduction and the distal latency of 10 patients affected with brain tumors and treated with CCNU. The motor and sensitive median dx and the tibial dx were studied before starting the treatment and after a cycle of therapy in 8 patients; in one patient they were studied after 2 cycles and in one patient after 3 and 12 cycles of therapy. No significant variations were found in the parameters studied for a peripheral neurotoxocity of CCNU.
