Abstract

It has been reported a case of a patient with papillary serous carcinoma of the ovary stage III C according with Figo classification, in whom a solitary splenic metastasis was found 41 months after initial surgery. An elevated CA 125 level found at a routine follow up was the only clinical indication of recurrent disease.
