Abstract

Background and PurposeThe aim of this study was to investigate by means of transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasonography how many spontaneous reperfusions of the middle cerebral artery (MCA) occurred during the first week after onset of acute ischemic stroke in the carotid territory.
