Abstract

Variability in the color of the Cu(II) and Ni(II) complex compounds with azomethine ligands is observed in a series of syntheses and interpreted in terms of the rotational isomerism effect. This hypothesis is consistent with the data of conformational analysis carried out using the method of ideal symmetry.
