Abstract

A study was made of cellular immunity in multiple sclerosis (MS), on the one hand with regard to the possibility of a correlation between human lymphocytes in MS patients and HL-A antigen; and, on the other hand a search was made for specific biologically active substances secreted by the activated T lymphocytes, one of which substances is the factor that inhibits the macrophagic action. The data obtained from the research are analyzed and the possible interpretations are discussed.
