One hundred and seven patients (37 males and 70 females, aged 1 to 64 years) suffering from Sturge-Weber syndrome, were subjected to objective cutaneous and ocular examinations. Facial hemangioma was the only clinical manifestation of the syndrome in 84 patients; furthermore, ocular changes were observed in 22 subjects. Sixty-one patients over 12 years old with cutaneous hemangioma were treated by means of Argon laser: good response was obtained in 47 cases, while 14 patients refused to continue the treatment for personal reasons. Adverse reactions were rare (4 cases), mild and temporary. Some of these 107 patients were followed up for eight years without any relapse.
