Abstract

Subependymomas are an uncommon, benign, asymptomatic lesion of the central nervous system, only rarely recorded at spinal level. In fact, the ratio of spinal to intracranial subependymomas is about 1:6. We describe a case of subependymoma of the spinal cord and review the relevant literature and the salient features of these tumors.
