Abstract
Six epileptic patients (4 M, 2 F 18 to 63 yrs of age), with partial complex seizures refractory to standard anticonvulsivant therapy showed a remarkable benefit by taking a comedication of valproic acid and lamotrigine. A pharmacodynamic interaction between the two drugs is suggested.
