Abstract
The aim of this study was to verify some aesthetic parameters which have already been described in literature. These parameters were analysed in ten patients and changes in teeth shape and positions were performed in three patients. Intra-oral and extra-oral parameters were analysed in each patient by a clinical examination and a series ofphotographs. Diagnostic wax-up was built on the cast models of the three patients in order to improve teeth shape and positions in relation to lips and face. The wax-up was copied using a resin acrylic mask in order to create a translucent structure called mock-up. This was fit in the mouth of the three patients facilitating the evaluation of the prosthetic project. In this way the correction of aesthetic parameters can be verify in an "ideal" context using a reversible procedure.
