Lo SGA e le sindromi

Translated title of the contribution: The small for gestational age subject and syndromes

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

Developmental syndromes frequently are associated to low birth weight or IUGR. Herein it is analyzed the possible causes of reduced weight or intrauterine growth retardation. The chromosomic anomalies, malformations, metabolic defects, well codified gene linked disorders may be the causes. An "ad hoc" classification is proposed.
