Abstract
Recent findings have shown that chronic treatment with both classical (haloperidol) and atypical (1-sulpiride) neuroleptics causes tolerance to the increase in DA turnover produced by neuroleptics both at cell body and at nerve terminal levels of the n. caudatus, n. accumbens and tuberculum olfactorium.
