Abstract

Time resolved reading of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) arrays was done using an intensified charge coupled device (CCD) camera having a picosecond resolution electronic shutter. Mapping of different fluorescent components lifetimes and the relative amplitudes was done by taking different fluorescent images after different delays with respect to the excitation pulses.
