Objectives: To illustrate the diagnostic approach to total face analysis. Materials and methods: The factors for a rational diagnostic evaluation, that is essential in complex implant-prosthetic rehabilitation cases, are provided. Results and conclusions: Total face analysis reduces the risk of not diagnosing dental-skeletal alterations that may affect the outcome of an implant-prosthetic rehabilitation.
