A rare case of giant urinoma, which arose as a late complication after conservative treatment of a kidney polar rupture, in a 12-year-old girl, is reported. Surgical treatment was the lower polar nephrectomy. Morphological and functional results were good. The various items of interest concerning this case (pathogenesis, urinoma size, kind of the surgical approach used by the authors, etc.) are carefully reviewed and discussed.
