A fibromuscular dysplasia associated with arterial hypertension was evidenced in a young woman. Renal revascularization by splenorenal-anastomosis was performed; after 6 months the patient, once more with blood hypertension, underwent revascularization (aortorenal by-pass). Features of fibromuscular dysplasia are discussed as well as the pathogenesis of such a rapid recurrence and the surgical procedure.
