Abstract

We report on the outcome of a child affected by Malignant Osteopetrosis, who was brought to our attention with hydrocephalus and intracranial hypertension. He was treated with frontal decompressive craniotomy and cranioplasty, just prior to bone marrow transplantation. The procedure allowed us to control intracranial hypertension while the donor osteoclasts began to have a clinical impact on the patient's disease.
