Many techniques have been described for hypospadias repair, but sometimes errors of indication or errors of techniques leed to a not complete resolution or to an aggravation of the pathology. These are cases of 'secondary hypospadias'. The possibility of surgical correction of this pathology is limited either because scar tissues are present or because preputial skin already utilized is defective or because complications have developed (urethral stenosis, fistulas, chordee). The surgical procedures described are based on the idea that the operation should be performed, if possible, in one stage utilizing subcutaneous pedicle flaps from the preputial surface or alternatively skin grafts, and relieving, if present, the chordee. Some cases are described and the obtained results are reported.
