We describe the case of a man aged 58, who have suffered from infancy of sporadic epileptic seizures. He has a mild left hemiparesis and a mild mental retardation. Doing a cerebral CT because of a Transitory Ischemic Attack of the left carotid artery, we discovered a large schizencephalic cleft in the right fronto-parietal lobe. We discuss the benign clinical picture of this malformation.
