In this case report we describe a patient in whom the Uhthoff's phenomenon, a transient impairment of visual function after emotional stress of exercise, was the first clue for a diagnosis of a demyelinating disease of the Central Nervous System. This symptom is normally reported during the course of the disease. In our experience this patient is the first case with a similar clinical history.
