Abstract

Endogenous production of steroids during pregnancy seems to stimulate the growth of steroid-dependent hepatic tumours. In our experience we observed an increasing volume of one liver adenoma during pregnancy and a decrease of it after delivery probably one the fall of steroid stimulation. We followed the growing of the benign liver mass and its decreasing by means multiple ultrasound examinations. Six months after delivery the liver tumor was surgically removed.
