Abstract
Case report: a 76 years old woman is had frequent episodes characterized by altered state of consciousness and speech troubles since a month. The neurological examination and a brain CT scan were normal. A brain MRI scan showed a large lesion in the left cerebral hemisphere. The interictal EEG showed fronto-temporal alterations in the left side. The Video-EEG study suggested that the seizure-causing lesion and the epileptogenic area are localized in a small necrotic fronto-temporal lesion.
