Among 99 patients who received add-on GVG treatment for epilepsy uncontrolled by conventional treatment, 49 are still on the drug and maintain significant clinical improvement (41 patients) or complete seizure remission (8 patients, after a follow-up of 1 to 8 years). GVG was discontinued in 8 patients because of possibly drug-related adverse effects.
