Abstract

Studies were conducted to determine the diagnostic usefulness of measuring HCG and 11 CIS in various clinical circumstance—abortion, molar pregnancy, Kh immunization, toxemia, postterm pregnancy, diabetes, twin pregnancy, and intrauterine death. Although the tests proved helpful in.some circumstances, the information obtained was not completely reliable. Their value at the present time appears to be greatest when they are made in conjunction with other tests.
