Histologic study reveals venous lake lined by thin wales mostly consisting of a single layer of endothelium surrounded by marked elastosis. The Authors report and inusual case in 73 y.o. woman presenting a venous lake on her left infraclavicolar region. In this case both minor trauma and the unopposable forces of the aging process are factors causing the venous lake in old skin.
