The authors present the clinical history of 2 children with Landau-Kleffner syndrome especially focusing on neurophysiological aspects and language. Direct relationship between language disorders and electroencephalographic abnormalities monitored over a few years are examined. Particular attention was dedicated to EEG recording during sleep.
