Abstract

We report a rare case of villoglandular adenocarcinoma of the cervix uteri. This is a distinct histologic type of cervical cancer, which occurs primarily in young women and has an excellent prognosis. The patient was submitted to radical hysterectomy, but a procedure less radical is recommended.
