A case of extraventricular neurocytoma is described in a 15-year-old female. The patient presented with a six month history of seizures. CT-scan revealed a parasagittal cortical and paracortical mass in the right frontal lobe containing calcifications. At MRI, the lesion was isotense on T1 and hyperintense on T2 weighted images with inhomogeneous contrast enhancement. The tumour showed the same histological, immunocytochemical and ultrastructural features superimposable as its intraventricular counterpart.
